JOB DUTIES:  The Registered Sanitarian performs the following functions within the framework of Lincoln County Health Department’s provision of the core functions and essential services of public health. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive:

Public Health Sciences

Analysis and Assessment

Policy Development and Program Planning

Community Dimensions of Practice

Communication and Cultural Competency

Financial Planning and Management

Leadership and Systems Thinking

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree Required. Bachelor’s Degree from four-year accredited college or university in environmental health or other related degree with a minimum of 30 semester hours of science, as well as 2 years of experience in public health or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Within six month of start date, employee must be obtaining and maintain a Registered Sanitarian License that is acceptable in the State of Wisconsin. Within two months of start date, employee must obtain and maintain training in respiratory fit testing.

RATE OF PAY: $24.01 Per Hour

HOURS: Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week
