The Keto Diet is not for everyone. But Vicki Gunvalson’s daughter, Briana Culberson, has said that the diet changed her life for the better — and that’s an understatement.

Since adopting low-carb, high-fat eating habits, the ER nurse has lost weight — and she’s even said that her lupus symptoms have lessened. So when a social-media follower criticized Briana’s food choices, she stepped in to defend her lifestyle.

After snapping an Instagram pic her breakfast — which included sausages, veggie-laden eggs, and a side dish of berries — the mom of three addressed the disparaging comment.

“This is for the person who said yesterday that I don’t eat any fresh produce??” she began her caption. “I go to the grocery store every few days because we eat so much produce, and these eggs come from 5 chickens we care for lovingly on our land. I try to teach my children that they need to eat food that comes from God and not a factory. We’re all doing the best we can.”

She continued: “No one is perfect and not every meal is perfect. I’ve avoided public social media for years and years because I’m sensitive and words affect me. This profile is supposed to be fun, just about sharing the food that has given me my health and my life back.”
